Whether you’re spending $100 a month or $10,000, your online marketing should be making you MORE revenue than what you spent by bringing you new business. If you aren’t seeing a return on your digital marketing investment, your marketing isn’t working. Don’t waste your money.

- Your Google Business Profile

Want to grow? Then make sure that you have a fully connected ecosystem in place that drives potential new clients, that don’t already know your business exists, to your “virtual” front door.
Start here:
Open the browser on your mobile phone – search for a few of the services that your business provides followed by “near me” (Not the name of your business; but the services that a potential client would do a Google search for).
Does your business show up in the first few scrolls of the search results? Or do your competitors consistently show up before you?
Once your business DOES show up:
- IF it’s via Google Maps and your Google Business Profile – Is your Google Business Profile complete and does it provide a listing of your services, a direct link to your website, positive reviews and quick links to connect directly with your business?
- IF your business’ website shows up before your Google Business Profile – Is it quick and easy for a website visitor to click to call your business directly, see that you are “in their neighborhood” or request an appointment? And if so – What happens when they complete any of those calls to action? Does it get to you immediately so that you can respond and earn their business?
Notice where you may have spent time or be currently spending money on your digital / online presence, but it isn’t actually bringing any new business your way?
What about social? Are you driving potential new clients to your business using your Facebook profile? Or are you randomly posting photos, comments, etc. that don’t actually get you in front of new people? Are your posts only being seen by those that already follow you?
Time is Money
In many cases, business owners do an initial “sweep” of online business profiles by creating a Facebook account for their business, an Instagram account, and/or building out a website to get started. Those efforts take up valuable time and as the business grows, it can be difficult for a business to find the resources or the time to keep their online presence up to par with the standards of their business.
